Waves is the Annual National Social and Cultural festival of the BITS Pilani- K. K. Birla Goa Campus, but what makes it so much more than a mere college fest is the rapturous ambience in the pristine campus, a true synergy of the nation’s best creative talent and above all, an universal roving spirit of participation and enjoyment.
Aptly themed on ‘Viva La Vida’, with promises to get bigger than ever before, and with prizes worth more than Rs.15 Lakhs up for grabs, Waves 2010 represents an exhilarating celebration of life- a marked departure from the monotonous and often depressing life of an engineering grad, juxtaposing the vivacious talent of the youth with an undying spirit of rejuvenation with great aplomb.
Apart from hosting an array of competitive events spanning 8 categories, a plethora of creative workshops and special nights previously graced by the likes of Parikrama, KK and DJ Suketu, the Waves 2010 team also brings to you a series of experiences you’ve never experienced before-with world record attempts, Paintball, and the Waves Ball and with street stunt bikers, fire dancers, belly dancers, a ventriloquist and a jazz funk virtuoso gracing the occasion, you are bound to take away memories and experiences that’ll last you a lifetime.
